Hello, food enthusiasts! This time, we delve into the delicious clear beef rib soup recipe from Devina Hermawan, a talented young chef. Let’s carefully follow her steps to create a tasty and savory Clear Beef Rib Soup, without any disturbing odor.

Ingredients and Equipment in the Clear Beef Rib Soup Recipe

Choose beef rib bones carefully. The right selection, considering fat content and meat texture, impacts the final dish.

To initiate the cooking process, use a pressure cooker. However, you can also use a regular pot, ensuring the ribs are tender by the end. This is the initial step to achieve tender and flavorful rib meat.

Aromatic ingredients include ginger, bay leaves, garlic, shallots, scallions, celery, and tomatoes. Special spices include nutmeg, cardamom, cloves, and white pepper.

It’s crucial to boil the ribs with fresh water to produce a fresh and fragrant broth. The boiling process with a pressure cooker helps save fuel and time.

After the boiling stage, we’re guided to prepare other ingredients like garlic, ginger, shallots, tomatoes, carrots, potatoes, and lime. Devina provides tips on how to crush garlic and ginger in the right proportions to avoid an overpowering broth.

The soup-cooking process involves combining all ingredients and spices carefully. You can use the efficient and powerful W-5B high-pressure stove from Winn Gas for large-scale cooking.

Once the soup is boiling, add pre-boiled vegetables like potatoes and carrots. This is done to ensure the vegetables remain intact and aromatic in the soup.

The importance of flavor adjustment at the final stage is highlighted, where you can add salt, MSG, sugar, and powdered beef according to taste. The addition of fried shallots, scallions, and celery at the end provides the perfect finishing touch to the Clear Beef Rib Soup recipe.

For serving, add lime juice and sambal to taste, providing a refreshing touch to the dish.
